Community
In line with, social value framework and social value policy, we as an organisation we believe in adding value in the community by employing local people to work with our service users. We aim to support the building of community links by our service users whereby they will be encouraged to use local amenities for their activities, engage in voluntary and charity working. This will ensure they have a sense of community belonging and reinvest in the community at the same time. For example, we have a service users that we have transitioned back into work in the local community. When they are not working, we have implemented community based flexible daily routines for them hereby he go to the gym, local games groups and accesses the community.
In order to engage with the local community initiatives, we are actively involved with a Charitable organisation called Something 4 Tea (S4T) whose primary goal is to feed local families struggling with meals at teatime. We donate our time, resources and financial aid as this is something, we believe adds value to community cohesion.
